The dawn of a new beginning, a new world, without adults, we are on our own!
Everyone we knew and loved are dead. Parents, aunts and uncles, grandparents, our teachers and friends' parents. Why did it happen? We don't know. Some became ill one day, and as the time went on, more and more of the adults became sick. But we weren't affected. The young ones were safe! And then the adults started to die, on tv they said there was no cure, nothing they could do!
And that was true. We could only watch them become sick and die. It was chaos, everyone was scared, a lot of people tried to flee the city, out to the country side. Others just decided to stay put in their homes. Schools, shops, hospitals, tv stations, everything closed.
Now the kids and teenagers are trying to survive in a broken world of ghostly cities and countrysides. We are trying to stay safe where ever we can find shelter. The city is now looking more like a concrete jungle. The only sounds on the streets are those of lurking and skulking children who are trying to find shelter and food. Children trying to survive in this broken world.
But is there hope, can we rebuild society? Is there a light in the darkness, or will darkness prevail? It is now up to us to rebuild the world to how we see fit!
